Director of Central Intelligence Report to PFIAB on Cuban Arms Build-up

This report, formally titled “Report to the President’s Foreign Intelligence Advisory Board on Intelligence Community Activities Relating to the Cuban Armes Build-up (14 April through 14 October 1962) by the Director of Central Intelligence,” was requested by the Chairman of PFIAB on November 14.

To prepare the report, DCI John McCone appointed a new committee, with himself as chair and joined by the State Department’s Director of Intelligence and Research, the Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency, the Director of the National Security Agency, and the Deputy Director of Central Intelligence. A working group also helped with drafting and reviewing the document.
